The Eastern Nasu of China
The Eastern Nasu of China, numbering about 655,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Southern Yi people of Yunnan whose distinct Nisu identity emerged through centuries of isolation in the highlands and is expressed through diverse Nisu language varieties and regional cultural traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Wusa Nasu.
