The Khamnigan Mongols of China
The Khamnigan Mongols of China, numbering about 2,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous Khamnigan Mongol community of Hulunbuir descended from centuries of interaction with Evenki peoples, retaining a distinct Mongolic language and shamanist traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Evenki.
