The Mongols of China
The Mongols of China, numbering about 5,680,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are the founders of the Yuan Dynasty under Kublai Khan after Genghis Khan united the tribes in 1206, today settled mainly in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region established in 1947, alongside communities in Northeast China, Xinjiang, and Qinghai.
They are an indigenous people in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Peripheral Mongolian.
