The Meng of China
The Meng of China, numbering about 5,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Hani subgroup of Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan, descended from the ancestors of the Hani and Akha peoples and distinguished by its Meng language and genealogy traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the Hani-Akha people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Hani.
