The Manmet of China
The Manmet of China, numbering about 1,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Austroasiatic community of Yunnan's Xishuangbanna Prefecture near the Myanmar border, whose Man Met language remains disputed among linguists between the Angkuic, Mangic, and Palaungic branches.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Theravada Buddhism, and they primarily speak Man Met.
