The Eastern Lipo of China
The Eastern Lipo of China, numbering about 140,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Lolo-branch people of the Yunnan-Sichuan borderlands in China, closely related to but distinct from the Lisu, whose ancestors are believed to have migrated from eastern Tibet before ethnic Tibetans settled the plateau.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Lipo.
