The Meifu Li of China
The Meifu Li of China, numbering about 66,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Meifu branch of the Hlai (Li) people of western Hainan who developed a distinct identity and language within the wider Li nationality, possibly shaped by centuries of interaction and intermarriage with Han migrants.
They are an indigenous people in the Li people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Hlai.
