The Lemo of China
The Lemo of China, numbering about 2,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of the Nujiang Valley in western Yunnan, officially classified as Lisu but maintaining a distinct Lemo identity despite widespread adoption of Mandarin.
They are an indigenous people in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Theravada Buddhism, and they primarily speak Mandarin Chinese.
