The Buyuan Jino of China

The Buyuan Jino of China, numbering about 1,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Buyuan-dialect branch of the Jino people of Yunnan's Xishuangbanna region in China, the last ethnic group officially recognized by the state in 1979, whose oral tradition traces its origin to soldiers of Zhuge Liang's army.

They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Buyuan Jinuo.
