The Hu of China
The Hu of China, numbering about 1,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Yunnan community of fewer than 1,000 people on the slopes of Kongge Mountain near Jinghong, officially classified by the Chinese government as part of the Bulang nationality despite speaking a distinct, mutually unintelligible Angku language.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Theravada Buddhism, and they primarily speak Hu.
