The Ge of China
The Ge of China, numbering about 167,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an unrecognized Chinese minority of southeastern Guizhou's Qiandongnan prefecture whose Hmongic speech ties them to the Miao, yet who have long asserted a separate identity, known for a distinct batik-making tradition.
They are an indigenous people in the Miao / Hmong people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Ge.
