The Buryat of China
The Buryat of China, numbering about 170,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Mongolic people of Inner Mongolia descended largely from Buryat communities that migrated from the Baikal region and Siberia, maintaining a distinct Buryat identity within the broader Mongolian population of China's northern frontier.
They are an indigenous people in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak China Buriat.
