The Bela of China
The Bela of China, numbering about 4,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Lolo-speaking community of Dehong in western Yunnan, officially classified as Jingpo yet maintaining a distinct Bela identity, language, and history.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Pela.
