The Ayi of China
The Ayi of China, numbering about 2,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Nu subgroup of Fugong and Gongshan counties in northwestern Yunnan whose distinct Ayi language has largely given way to Lisu.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Lisu.
