The Amdo of China
The Amdo of China, numbering about 1,535,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tibetan people of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau spanning Qinghai, Gansu, and Sichuan, historically ruled in part by Qoshud Mongol khans and the Golok federation, renowned for equestrian and nomadic grassland traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Amdo Tibetan.
