The Hindko of Pakistan
The Hindko of Pakistan, numbering about 5,175,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethno‑linguistic community defined primarily by their use of the Hindko language, an Indo‑Aryan language spoken in northwestern Pakistan and nearby regions.
They are an indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Northern Hindko.
