The Yakha of Nepal
The Yakha of Nepal, numbering about 22,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Kirati ethnolinguistic community of eastern Nepal who speak the Yakkha language and maintain a distinct cultural identity rooted in the Arun Valley, traditional agriculture, and Kirat religious traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Kirati, and they primarily speak Yakha.
