The Ticherong of Nepal
The Ticherong of Nepal, numbering about 3,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Tibeto-Burman-speaking community of the Tichurong valley in Nepal's Dolpa district, a Himalayan frontier zone where the predominantly Magar population absorbed neighboring Thakuri settlers through generations of intermarriage.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Tichurong.
