The Thami of Nepal
The Thami of Nepal, numbering about 30,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous Thangmi-speaking ethnolinguistic community of the hills east of Kathmandu whose cultural heritage combines shamanic, ancestral, and nature-oriented traditions with influences from Hinduism and Buddhism.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Thangmi.
