The Sampange Rai of Nepal
The Sampange Rai of Nepal, numbering about 14,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Rai linguistic group of Nepal's Khotang District, part of the historic Kirat homeland known as Majh Kirat or Khambuwan that once fell under the suzerainty of the Sen king of Chaudandigadhi before Nepal's unification.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Buddhist people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Sampang.
