The Lumba-Yakkha of Nepal
The Lumba-Yakkha of Nepal, numbering about 1,700 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Kirati people of the lower Arun valley in eastern Nepal, ethnically distinct from though linguistically related to the neighboring Limbu, subsisting as farmers in the Dhankuta district hills.
They are an indigenous people in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Buddhism, and they primarily speak Lumba-Yakkha.
