The Kham-Magar of Nepal

The Kham-Magar of Nepal, numbering about 67,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Northern Magar people of mid-western Nepal's Rolpa and Rukum districts, part of the historic Magarat region once home to the eighteen-kingdom Athara Magarat confederation, whose homeland later became known as the heartland of Nepal's Maoist insurgency.

They are an indigenous people in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Western Parbate Kham.
