The Chamlinge Rai of Nepal
The Chamlinge Rai of Nepal, numbering about 15,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Kiranti people of Nepal's Khotang district, part of the Rai confederation whose Kirat ancestors are traditionally credited with ruling the Kathmandu Valley for over a thousand years, blending Hindu practice with Kirat Mundhum tradition.
They are an indigenous people in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Camling.
