The Rajbansi of Bangladesh
The Rajbansi of Bangladesh, numbering about 17,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a people of the historic Koch Kingdom whose 16th-century leader Bishwa Singha took the title Kamateswar, whose name means royal community, with many in North Bengal and Bangladesh's Rangpur Division later converting to Islam.
They are an indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Rangpuri.
