The Riang of Bangladesh
The Riang of Bangladesh, numbering about 700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indo-Mongoloid hill people of Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts whose ancestors migrated in waves from Myanmar's Shan State, sharing close ties with the larger Reang population concentrated across the border in India's Tripura state.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Riang (India).
