The Mru of Bangladesh
The Mru of Bangladesh, numbering about 35,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Sino-Tibetan people of Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts whose ancestors once ruled the Arakan region before being driven out by the Khumi and resettling in the hills between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
They are an indigenous people in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Mru.
