The Khumi Chin of Bangladesh
The Khumi Chin of Bangladesh, numbering about 2,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Chin people originally from Arakan who entered Myanmar's Chin State and Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts after conflicts with the Mro and other neighboring groups, remaining without Christian converts until missionaries reached Paletwa in 1924.
They are an indigenous people in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Khumi Chin.
